Jianchong Chen

Hi there! I’m Jianchong Chen 👋

I’m a first-year MSECE student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, having just completed my undergraduate studies in the joint Computer Engineering program between Zhejiang University and UIUC.

Since my undergraduate years, I’ve been a Research Assistant in the Signals and Inference Research Group (SiNRG), where I’m very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Romit Roy Choudhury — work I’m continuing now as a graduate student, at the intersection of generative modeling and signal processing.

I completed my undergraduate thesis under the guidance of Prof. Bo Zhao, whose expertise in computational imaging and inverse problems shaped how I approach research.
